Ewn, perhaps they were ordered to match the dealer's 'colourways' (as they say these days!). Either that, or someone pressed the 'clone' and 'grayscale' buttons whilst editing the photo.

I really love my 2015 4/4: It offers essential pure driving fun, looks great and is a stylish automotive icon. I have driven a +4, a lotus7, an opel speedster and a porsche carrera. Nothing compares to my morgan 4/4. I would never trade it in for anything else. My morgan is not just a sports car, it is a life style. A kind of reminiscence to the time of the 1930s gentlemans driver, it is like an archetype of that aera. A lot of cars can be driven faster, or are lying better on the street. Suspension, steering and handling is poor, compared to modern cars. But i am not a fan of assisted driving, nor assisted living. Driving some miles in my morgan always puts a wide smile on my face. Same happens to the people seeing me passing by. A little bit nostalgic. A little bit excentric. But really unique. I have got a lot of "thumbs up" from other sports car drivers, so there must be something special with this car, that even other people feel.
And i feel it any time when i sit down behind this wooden steering wheel, looking over the endless bonnet, and start the engine for a short stroll around the neighbourhood.
it would be a shame not to continue this model.

I don't think we have a downer on Caterhams or similar cars. I looked at Caterhams for a while and I think PaulJ still has his.

The thing is, as Beneviro wrote above, we know what our Morgans are like. We don't chose a Morgan because we don't realise how good other cars are in comparison. As a group we are often patronised about our choices, but these choices are not made in ignorance. Quite the opposite. Most on here could swop their Morgan for a modern which would be superior in every way.

But few do and thats what enthusiasts of other niche cars, and most journalists simply don't get.

Yes, interesting that we choose to spend a great deal of money on a flawed product. I do still have an Seven in the garage Dave, well remembered, this one though is even more flawed, having an Yamaha R1 engine. With 6 sequential gears, very closely spaced to give me forward momentum, but no gears to help me go astern. Interesting on our Somerset and Devon lanes, which are only one car wide.

I think our ownership of such vehicles is an antidote to very efficient modern cars, which require very little or no thought to drive, are asignine and boring to drive, and one has to be travelling at least at 100mph or more to get any real feeling of speed.

Absolutely. We own Morgans because we love them, not because they are any good smile

Imagine if our loved little gems were not flawed in any way. There would only be a fraction of the correspondence on this site and precious little conversation at Noggins!
Conversations may go something like this at a Noggin:-
Steve: Car went really well today Dave - no problems at all
Dave: Oh did it? - Would you like another crisp?
...or something like this on TM:
'Reliability+8': Car went perfectly today and was really comfortable up hill, down dale and in the pouring rain.
"Perfection+4": Oh, did it? - I see that BJ is now Prime Minster etc.......

After reading Oct Miscellany, it now looks like the 1.6 Sigma will continue, as it’s not the Sigma engine itself, and a plan is in place to recalibrate the ECU to comply with the current regs.......

Looks like we could be without new 4/4’s until the changes have been sorted out which should be approx. 12 months........the only new 4/4,s available right now is current dealers stock........so it’s not all bad for the 4/4 Sigma
