Whooooooo......had to post! The Lancaster just flew a couple of hundred feet over the house and across the estuary to the Lakes. Didn’t even get time to grab my camera!
Stirring stuff 🤓

The Lancaster flew over us on the M1 a couple of years ago near junction 29. It flew Westwards, and low, and was very distracting!!!!

It flew very low right over our garden last weekend.

I was in a garden centre in Romford once and heard a loud aircraft noise only to look up a see a low level pass by a B17 Flying Fortress. Very impressive but the Lancaster is better.

Lucky chap. Saw it over us once or twice but never had time to grab a camera. Gives me goosebumps when it flies over.

One flew low over my house a week or so ago.... I assume it was at nearby Dunsfold. Same thing, no time to grab the phone. Fabulous sight.

It makes us a bit goose bumpy just imagine what this flight did to one of our older heroes reliving a memory onboard Lincoln.

Recently we have been having Super Hornets using Pembrey range....
A TOTALLY different sound (!) and sight.
