Richard, am I right in thinking you were planning on doing a three week trip around the South Island? If so, Libby and I would be up for that.

The bathroom can wait, I am on for New Zealand. 3 M3W's in a 40 foot container perfect.

I don't have an M3W (I'm afraid) but Mrs. W and I will be in the North Island in March so we'll keep our eyes open for you.

Thank your wife please Philip. Very thoughtful. I used to be medium, but latterly I have found the necessity to go for a large size for some reason.

Southampton to USA New York is circa £6k return for two cars in a 40 foot container. So £3k each. It's cheaper by RORO but your car can only travel with the spare and toolkit. Friends have had problems (theft) in the past with RORO. Don't forget you will need marine insurance as well. Circa 0.5% car's value.

Please ensure that you keep us up to date with your plans as we offer a friendly face in Auckland.
There are possibly a dozen three wheelers here spread around the country
The Mog club can also offer support.

The wife and I should be retired for the second time by then!

Cheers

Nigel and wendy

Nigel, Wendy,

Thanks for that. I will definitely be in touch. Looks like I may have company too.

It would be good to try and meet up somewhere with yourself and maybe some other 3 Wheeler drivers if we can work things out.

Ricardo,

It would be good to meet up if possible. There may be one or two other familiar faces if plans come into fruition.
