I can't believe I'm thinking I quite like this shape doh

Seems as if they have scrapped the all electric one for the time being.

I know amazing really.. will it pass I wonder?

I am relieved to see they are releasing these £1M open shopping trolleys though for balance at Ferrari.

I would agree, Bentley/Lambo/Audi they are all ugly, at least there is some finesse in this design.

Porsche are no longer a sports car manufacturer considering they make and sell sell more SUV’s than all their other models put together, I’m not surprised all the other brands are all falling over themselves to make SUV’s

It will be electric small city cars next

Ferrari have always tried to artificially constrain supply and have held around about 7000 cars per year. This seems to have worked well as it has made the pre-owned market very strong. Along with a good servicing and warranty program they have been very smart.

The pressure to increase profitability now they are on the stock market probably triggered this. If everyone else is doing it then they have cover. I guess you could even include Aerial with the Nomad ? So even Lotus must be twitching now.

I would not bet against Ferrari trying to emulate Porsche and double volume with an SUV. China/Middle East/US are all big markets and the EU seems to be following the rash.

Having been through the sports car, turbo-estate, turbo-SUV program there are some nice elements of the SUV (view mostly) but the additional view is offset by the weight and CoG meaning you need more space.

Shades of a "D" type with "C" type overtones and, believe it or not, from the pictures I have to say, at risk of having my life membership revoked, I don't really like it.
Crikey, did I say that?

Photos can lie but at least it looks as if the luxury brands Ferrari and Aston Martin are at least trying to conceal the fat and chubby appearance of an ordinary SUV.
Nevertheless it remains heavy and very stolid unsportsmanlike heavy armoured cruisers.

Obviously people want to have something so fat and bulky big, at least in Russia, Asia, the USA but also here in Europe. In 2017 Porsche sold 97,202 Macan, 73,913 Cayenne and only 27,942 Panamera (which is also not small and handy).

Our latest trend is to make heavy SUVs even heavier. A new Audi "E-tron" (a bloody stupid name) was presented, with an incredible 700Kg weight just for the battery.

Very interesting figures Heinz the march is unstoppable I guess.
The weight of that battery is phenomenal, you won't want to get in the way of one of those.
