Mulfab hard chrome with steering bearings have made a great difference to mine. Cain at Wolf performance will fit them if needed and also give you good advice.

When I were young I jacked out the bushes using long studding and appropriate sleeve and washer. Pulled them in in the reverse way. Hand reaming after was not that good as hand reaming 1Inch diameter the reamer seemed to chatter. Wouldn't do it now.

So far I've taken one out each way.............. We are talking some 55yrs ago, so I cannot remember a detail like that. All I know is that I was an apprentice with no money and no other means of renewing the bushes. I borrowed the reamer from work.

More or less any garage that is used to working on old cars will have the equipment to be able to do this job, you just need a press and a reamer along with the normal range of mechanics tools. There's a reasonable explanation of the process on GoMog which any competent mechanic would be able to follow. http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/485231/8 Davew's illustrated guide on here is invaluable.

No but the first one's tell you how to find out the EXACT accurate cost if you read it carefully ! Morgan ownership is a lot about helping your self and not getting others to do all the foot work .

Dealer hourly rates are expensive but specialists work out cheaper. There's much you can dismantle yourself.
Add up the cost of parts - Mulfab or Heart of England Morgan have this on their websites.
I've no idea what the hourly rates are now but eight hours work at £30 an hour as an example..............
It could be a lot more than £30.....
