Caterham arms and blades just fitted without issue. Observations: the Caterham arms have spring clip fitting to drive splines which may make them a sod to remove, although they fit on easily enough. OE ones use screw and wedge. The blades are 5mm longer but pivot in the middle. This would reduce the outer arc of blade but for the severe bend in the arms of OE ones which still leaves the Caterham ones with slightly larger. Inner arc is noticeably less, hence greater swept area although not by much. The arm spring is a little stronger on the Caterham ones which could explain why MMC put such a large bend in theirs to increase blade pressure. Usefully they will just hold overcentre to allow blades to be pulled out to nearly 90° to assist cleaning. Blade end caps not included but can be swapped over from OE ones- a dab of glue may help. Caterham code numbers: Arm 30V018A, Blade 30V017A Useful post, thank you

Although I've covered nearly 2000 miles now a round trip of 360 miles to York this weekend was the first time I've used the wipers continously. Something of a baptism of fire given the torrential rain Sunday morning and keaving me a bit dissapointed. They squeaked and left streaks and a rubbery gum on the screen. After cleaning the screen thoroughly this morning though with Co-ops finest window cleaner (with vinegar) prior to return journey, wiper performance was transformed - no squeaks or streaks. Guessing the issue was polish left on screen. Great back and no thanks to screen heater which I was also able to test for the first time.

Fast forward 4½ years and 22,000 miles, I'd been looking for some time to upgrade the Caterham wiper blades above to sprung ones. Problem was I initially couldn't find any suitable in black. Westfield used to offer but their online shop is shut for obvious reasons following the companies demise. Checked with Peter and he only had stainless. Pleased however to stumble on these very similar 8 inch (204mm) ones from Tex Automotive. ![[Linked Image]](https://texautomotive.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/b05108e-wedgelock-blade-5.2mm-bayonet-8-black.jpg) Although a little longer than Caterham ones I calculated the sweep should just fit the screen providing max possible swept area. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/JJ73wR5.jpg) Bayonet fitting identical so quickly fitted to Caterham arms. Test revealed the sweep missed screen surround by just over ⅛" at the top but o/s one just slipped over the vertical edge so snipped a smidgeon of rubber off corner of that blade.
