Nice lookin motorhome, hope you have many happy journeys in it. Why do Motorhomes tend to have such patterned upholstery, don’t they do plain colours? There are lots with plain colours; ours for example.

A motorhome is quicker and not so long on curvey and small roads. But a motorhome is more expensive.
If you stay some days at one place you you have to hope you geht the same place if you made a short daytrip. And every time you leave a place which is not a plan golfcourse you have to find the right niveau when comming back! If you want to use a motorhome often I think a motorhome has more advantages.
Driving a motorhome is more easy than towing a large Caravan.

Smashing Motorhome Bob, my neighbour has one very similar and it has got me thinking. By the way did you know that Aguri make a dedicated Motorhome Satnav.

The Memsahib and I had MotorHomes for 20 years and travelled all over Europe from the toe of Italy to the Russian border. We absolutely loved it and strangely our final one was a Merc with a Compass conversion. Best thing for restful holidays but having done it we now don't really want to go back as the second time around things don't seem to have the same magic. Good luck to you old chap.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

I looked at the Aguri site and they seem to be excellent, with free updates as well. Do you have one, which one would you recommend. I am thinking of the RV 720 DVR as 7" is probably big enough.

Your Sprinter-based van should be really easy to drive. Nice and high seating giving a great view combined with light steering. Caron drives ours no problem but she refuses to drive the Morgan. Just take care if you have a long overhang at the back. My rule when driving it is « just take it easy - you’re on holiday »

I don't have the Aguri Satnav Bob,just the speed trap warning gizmo. After a spell at "naughty school" for speeding it has probably saved me on a few subsequent occasions. The bonus free updates will save you a bunch over the course of its lifetime.

My sister in law drove the hired camper van the same size,She normally drives a Golf and she found it easy. With the reversing camera makes it easy to reverse into sites. Just have to watch for narrow lanes with over hanging hedges for scratching. But with the large wing mirrors usually fitted you will find it easy. Just looking at your van it is such good value, the lift for the wheelchair most have cost alot on it own. Enjoy it all year round with your heater on you will be snug as bugs !
