Just seen what I think is the best summary I have seen of the current situation regarding diesel cars and how they are taxed and treated in congestion / high pollution zones. So, I thought I would share it with you.
I could go on about the duplicity of Governments regarding how they have duped us and are now treating us with complete disdain as they take our taxes but, that may have to wait!

Don't forget that direct injection petrol engines also produce NOx and sub PM10 particles at higher levels than throttle body injection. So it is probable that we will see particle filters on petrol engines before too long.

They are alreasy on VW AUDI petrol direct injection engines and a recent podcast by Emission Analaytics did metion the issue together with the latest results on diesels to Euro 6D

Quite techical it is half an hour long and the next section is a QA and it is worth listening too.
