The seller removed the Reserve at the last minute, but the winning bid of $36,000 was way too high. The buyer must be putting quite a premium on provenance.

I forgot about the additional 5% ($1800) buyer's fee, which one commentator has indicated has been avoided as buyer and seller have dealt outside the BAT auction. When we see future auctions, we need to add that on.
