Sounds like a wonderful car. Hope you have lots of fun once you have fitted the wing liners.

No exhaust fumes detected in our 4/4.

Was there a recent post (KEVFITZ ?) mentioning a GPS speedometer? May prove to be the easiest fix. I use the speed readout in my Sat-Nav a lot - still off to the side but closer than the speedo.

When I first got my Plus 4 I couldn’t see the turn signal indicator lamps but as my seat has worn in they have slowly hove into view. I finished off the job by moving the seat back one position closer to the horizontal.

Re short shift lever.
Tried googling the thread re shortening the lever but came up with nothing relevant to a Roadster.
Any links you can offer?

No, I don't think there is anything Roadster specific but the 4/4 won't be much different especially if they share the same gear knob.

Beautiful well spec'd car Sid assuming its this one

Pleased for you the standard rear plinth was specially fitted, as a full rear bumper normally means tacky add-on fog and reverse lights.

The leather will be a pig to keep clean though. I keep a can of foam cleaner handy wink

Phil and Joyce good to deal with - I bought my M3W from them.
Strangely mention is made of adjustable rear shocks but not front confused2

Re shortening Roadster gear lever - I think it would be severely hampered by the sliding sleeve gate for reverse on the Mustang box.

ETA: I note it has AR exhausts fitted. Although I can't immediately see how, I wonder if these contribute to reducing throttle lag

Thanks for all your replies chaps, it’s good to know you take an interest!
In response to the issues raised:

Personally, I find the gear lever quite comfortable and well-placed, so I’m happy to leave well alone in that respect.

Unfortunately the speedo and tacho can’t be swapped over as they’re all connected via this Canbus malarkey, so modern technology does have its drawbacks - especially to us tinkerers.

I’ve looked at the Williams windstop but I’m not too keen on the design as I much prefer a cleaner, straighter profile more in keeping with the lines of the car. So I’ll persevere with the MGF version and see what I can come up with and keep you posted.

I’m going for the MotoLita thick-rimmed wooden wheel, but if anyone fancies a cheap leather-rimmed alternative to the MotoLita wheel, it’s possible to transform the original Morgan wheel (the one with the cheap and nasty plastic pad) into something of beauty as I described in a previous post at http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/190153/Steering_wheels#Post190153

My car, correctly identified on the Ledgerwood website by Richard, has the Aero Racing Sports Exhaust which I find to be an excellent alternative to the other sports versions which I found to be just too noisy and uncomfortable. This one makes a lovely growl when asked and isn’t intrusive in normal use thankfully.

It’s had adjustable shocks fitted to the rear, and twin anti-tramp bars. (I think originally the Roadsters only had one?). As part of the deal Phil installed the Suplex system on the front for me, so now it’s got adjustables all round, which will give me something else to play about with in the future.

The wingliners I’ll be fitting to the car are the MOg MMX Innovations-winning Wells Wingliners that I created back in 2010, and described here in a copy of my submission to Miscellany Magazine: http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php...on%202012..docx

Happy times ahead…

My Brooklands had the AR exhausts and was plagued with exhaust fumes entering the cockpit. A simple modification to side exits for the exhaust solved the problem permanently.

Are the factory rear shocks adjustable on their 5 Link setup? If so you can easily soften them up to give a more compliant ride, which is one of the big benefits of the 5 Link system.
