I thought I read or probably heard it from one of those rogue deviant ex MMC tour guides that the high roof line of the Plus 4 Plus was to accommodate the lady’s beehive hairdos in the 60’s
Maybe this new version is to accommodate the gentleman’s quiff
Although it doesn’t look quite high enough for mine At least you have hair! I have always thought that if the roofline of the Plus 4 Plus had extended further back down towards the rear (similar to a TVR 3000M - http://tvrpre80s.de/angebot-3000m-cossi-lhd-2/ ) it would have been a success, notwithstanding the high price. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I never liked the look of the P4P purely because of the roofline.

As above. The roof looks too bulbous. A sloping rear would be nicer. E-type/Triumph GT6 style.

An Ashley Sportiva Morgan roofline would be much better than taking inspiration from the P4P.

No even that is not a good look. Just a personal opinion. The Ashley spridget hardtop was a far better design. Just me again.

There is a very nice re-bodied Morgan in a museum in Spain but I can never find the photo when I want it. It has a very Italian, almost 60s Ferrari, look about it.
