Minus 6.3degreesC in the garage at tea time. I've never seen it that cold in there. One of my large ice cream containers full of distilled water is solid ice. The kingpins will have to wait..........

 Haven't needed the diff lock yet Richard. All the roads around home are frozen - the only problems come from those incapable of driving in these conditions. I'm still on the Good Years as fitted in a smaller diameter to Disco 1 as OE. Not great mud tyres being only around 35% off road, but VERY good in snow. Cheers,

Have just invested in snow socks for the Merc.
That should stop the snow!
