Not overly impressed with some of the gearchanges - that clutch won't last too long!

The factory made a one off V8 which was recently sold in the UK - didnt fetch more than a normal Dino if memory serves. But then Ferrari pricing is incomprehensible for the most part. I mean why is the price of a Dino as much as 4 times that of the 308 that followed and was a big improvement?
And somehow I feel uncomfortable with Yanks chopping a piece of art to produce a Kool Kustom. Easy to imagine some redneck modifying the Mona Lisa to incorporate a McDonalds logo. Maybe this one is a bit better since it does use a Ferrari engine rather than a small block Chevvy, but still ......

Always wanted a Red Dino 246 GT since I saw one as a boy outside the pub just along the road from where I lived. Stood for ages  I think it would make a good garage mate standing with the red Mog. I am hardly out of the garage now . I would have to put a bed in the garage between them .

There was an article about this car in Octane a while back. A very brave man to do this to a master piece of the metal bashers art, however, like Howard, I asked myself why? The Dino was and remains one of Ferrari's greats, too small for me but simply beautiful to behold.

If I had the ££££££ a Dino would be in my garage.
Standard version as it would be enough.
It has plenty already to make it desirable.
Hmmmmm....
More £££££ would mean a second one ....... worked on by Ferrari themselves......
