Been wet and truly soaked to the skin a few times. Came back from down South one day following air con CDs the lot in her car . I open air mog and the sky opened . I went round a roundabout slow'ish and the rear end left me managed to catch it . But why oh why is it when the ton cover has a huge pool of water on it does it always flow into the car on top of my legs and never over the edge onto the road . Einstein could not work that out . I opened the mog door and swam out . That Morecamb and Wise one where he dances in the rain and goes under a drain pipe . Other side of my garage opening is an old church with a drain pipe on the wall . The rain was that strong it just came over the top , I was going to drive the mog under it and sit under it . You can not get wetter than wet . 3 days to dry out my overalls But the best one was mog 89 up near Inverness . One lad with a +8 had driven from Devon all the way up with just aeros on, it was dry . The day we decided to head home it was stonking down. As we headed in convoy towards the Forth bridge I thought at the speed they all went they where going to yump it . Stopped in Edinburgh for petrol as I climbed out of the mog soaked the rain was flowing in behind the dash running down onto my crotch . In went to fill up with petrol . Then swam over to the place to pay and asked the bloke on the cash reg where is your loo . He looked at my wet crotch and burst out laughing . I said "its a Morgan" but he had not a clue " The lad with the aero's was never seen again , some say he ended up in Atlantis .

it's about time the hardtop went on for a bit... there's not much point in having one if you never use it!

Spend say £50k on a car but I will SORN it for 6 months as that will save say £200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you do not buy an Aero you will save £50k.
Seems a better idea if £200 make it worth puting it off the road for 6 months.
Agree with you 100% Peter drive it when you can.

Roof off drives in Winter are the best...will probably be raining tomorrow on way to Ledgerwood Xmas bash...don't care makes me feel alive !!!!!
Aeroscreens Rule Ok!!!! They do do they! 🤪 I’m a few days away from my cunning plan for a car with aeroscreens to make me fully alive 🤓😋

Actually I like the flexibility of using SORN. With 12 vehicles in the fleet, online banking and online taxing on monthly DDM and SORN it works quite nicely.
In fact as of tomorrow 9 of the 12 will be SORN'd as I'm off to Uganda for a little trip. No point letting the DVLA get too much cash, they don't seem to spend it wisely :-)
