Drove the car to a friends "Garage Night" about 20 miles. New spax adjustable dampers are great! Bevel box unchanged with the Redline Shockproof. I will screw my earplugs in deeper!

Is a little leakage from the bevel box normal? I replaced my bevel box oil over the weekend and noticed that a very tiny bit is weeping from the cover plate behind the belt drive sprocket. More concerning is there was a dark smear of lube that appears to be coming from the seal that is behind that sprocket. I think I may have over filled the bevel box slightly during the last service, has anybody else seen this?

I have found that if there is too much oil then the breather tends to not work. I had a drip from the front seal.
There is quite a pressure build up, so double check the breather is clear and working well.Be careful screwing in back in as the plastic thread is real easy to damage especiall if you fully contorted trying to reach it without removing stuff !!!
After reducing oil a tad and clearing the leak disappeared.

I think I just overfilled it last time, I will check it again next time I am under it. Does everyone else's engine weep a little oil from the bottom covers if it has not been driven in a few weeks?

I really enjoyed the Malvern video! I was in London for a week in February, but did not make it out to Malvern. I totally relate to your flight experience, fly the red eye, get to London at 7am, adrenaline is pumping, then feel like a zombie about 1pm. This was my 4th trip to England, love the place. Especially the pubs, the older the better.
