Hi Charlie I nearly lost my Dad a couple of weeks ago (yes careless I know...) so I really appreciate your sentiments. I'm in Farnham, so not far. No track days organized and not a +8 (still a V8 though) but will gladly arrange to take your Dad out for a country blast when it's not wet? Might even be able to arrange a tandem with another Surey Possee member (or two? If anyone else was intereted?) to get you along also? Only downside is that the other Surrey Posse members only have 'Max's so you'd have to slum it if so When were you thinking of? Andy PS my wife is/was a 'Dingley' from oop North??? No relies down here as far as we know

Charlie How deep are your pockets? You could offer to feed and water the TM Surrey Possie for a day your Dad wouldn't forget, but knowing those guys it'll probably work out cheaper to buy yourself the +8 happy to join the Surrey possie (I spent 30 odd year living in Godalmimng) to give your dad a run in a tradionial Morgan - it only a 4/4 4 seater, but along with Boshly and others we may have a be able to provide a selection.

Another 'not a Plus 8' but happy to help if I can be of assistance.
If the Plus 8 is the key, perhaps tagging along to one of the Morgan days at Goodwood track is a good idea? Brands Hatch Morgan hold one annually and, iirc, MSCC also sometimes have an day out there.

well..what can i say! im chuffed to bits of the amount of enthusiasm you guys are putting into this. thankyou so much. i think getting as many morgans out for a day would be the perfect thing. shall i start a new post and start thinking about a date? or maybe encorporate it with an event at goodwood or brands hatch? so we go out for a drive, maybe stop for lunch then catch a bit of one of the events? what does everyone think of that? Boshly - that is a stunning looking car, i'll take shotgun

Your name is on the passenger seat, although I can't promise it will look as clean again
