They are as helpless about the drones at Stuttgart airport as you are in Gatwick. But they must have identified some people.
Fortunately I wasn't in Stuttgart yesterday, it's only 2:20 by train, so I never fly there.

The spying attempts at Stuttgart airport could have a terrorist background. According to the German Press Agency, at least one of the suspects belongs to the Islamist milieu. Over here as well, not all newspapers and broadcasts say it open. Ok it is not proved but it can also not be ruled out.

Here’s a thought
If an interest group got together, with a handful of people flying drones at major airports up and down the UK, primarily London’s, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow etc not only would air travel in the UK grind totally to a halt, the knock on throughout Europe and the rest of the world would be both massive and long lasting.
