 Apparently a damaged drone has been located at the airport and police are hoping DNA results will help in their enquiries - yes seriously this was in a statement issued by Sussex Police.

Nice result... Got a new job at Gatwick Airport. I patrol the runways on a horse and shoot down any illegal flying devices in the area. I'll be known as The Drone Ranger.

Now Birmingham airport traffic is suspended due to a 'traffic control fault'.

I think that the Daily Mail need to be sued heavily for that headline. Interesting that most of the news media did not name the couple.
It get worse....the spokesman for the Sussex Police now says that there might not have been a drone 🙄. Can you believe it!

It get worse....the spokesman for the Sussex Police now says that there might not have been a drone 🙄. Can you believe it! Agree it’s depressingly bad So much for Leverson and self regulation I did think initially that this was a complete overreaction as nobody was clear who actually witnessed the drone. From news reports it wasn’t air traffic control themselves The video footage wasn’t contextual with the vicinity of a runway What if it was just a bit mass hysteria? What if this supposed damaged drone found nearby is now the police trying to save face after their farcical arrest of the innocent couple?

Police have just announced that they now suspect it was a pan-dimensional UFO flown by two mice called Frankie and Benjy. It seems that the occupants of the UFO did not intend to disrupt air traffic and were just checking the progress of some complicated computer program.
