Look at history chaps.......
When a mode of transport becomes obsolete, there are always those who continue, no matter what the cost, becasue they care enough.
So there are those who still ride horses.
There are those who still use a pony & trap, or horse & carriage.
There are those who use vintage cars & motorbikes.
There are those who still use Morgan 3 wheelers.........
I intend to be one of those who still uses a petrol powered car.
There was a great quote in Classic Car a couple of years ago. The feature was about the Lotus Elise, and they had four versions with four owners. One owner said that he would never sell his Elise, would grow old disgracefully, and wanted to be known as "the old bloke who goes to the papershop in an old Lotus Elise".
I believe that's a true measure of a petrolhead.....
