I just looked at the Mg Owners site where there is a similar tool for two eared spinners, but when I spoke to the man there he said it was only for undoing and the wooden spinner saver that they stock was no good for 6j and over.Meabh.

See link from cerealsurfer of 13/11/2010 - just done a quick google and I think there is a Thames Mog connection. The phone number underneath cereals entry under the Union Jack is workable.

Thanks for the info. thumbs
I know the product from Cereals family being a local TV member. It is an excellent product. I was just about to make a visit to buy one when we changed our 4/4 with Hex nuts to the Roadster with Spinners.
I have not tried to swing the mallet at the Roadster because the spinners are set much deeper than the other models with a high chance of hitting the rim or the spokes - but I need to get equipped for the eventuality.

The thought of swinging a mallet anywhere near an alloy body would terrify me Frank, let alone spokes and rims. ooo Lets hope you turn up something suitable soon, I'll keep a lookout while trawling around Morgan sites.

Thanks for solving the TV connection also.

Ceralsurfer, I don't suppose that there is a chance that you might make a spaner for the twin eared spinner is there?

The MG owners club supply the two-eared spinner wrench as above

Cheers!

Call the number on the advert and ask, I'll talk to them tomorrow and see if they could do an eared variant.

I've just swopped from octagonal centres to two eared spinners and I acquired the tool from MGOC. I was up in Cambridge so I went to Swayvsey and bought it over the counter but I know another Morgan guy in Gwent who ordered one by post and it came within 48 hours

I have made the swap too, Gerwyn and have ordered the tool from MGOC -- it will be interesting to see how long it takes to cross the duck-pond!!

Cheers!
