Hi Folks we are now owners of morgan mumber 4 a morgan 3 wheeler matchless mx sidevalve water cooled from 1934. She needs restoration and hopefully within a year she will be road worthy.... Now who is the m3w sheet metal specialist , im thinking steve Barns of vintage sheet metal? And perhaps same for radiator? DSC_1052 by Robert & Ali Davies, on Flickr

You’re a brave man Rob, that’s a project and a half, going by your other cars though, I’m sure it’s going to be a cracker. I must say though, that’s the worst trailer I’ve seen in a long time, next time you do a rubbish run to the skips, just throw the whole thing in!

My radiator was rebuilt by www.vintagewingsandrads.co.uk and I did the body work myself. I did most of the work on the restoration myself but everything I sub-contracted took an extraordinary long time.

Ha, I see now why you won't be turning up in your new three wheeler at M3W club meet just yet. Can't help with ally body fabrications but Mike Pilgrim to name just one is very knowledgable. Glad you got it home ok on that trailer

Rob
Steve Barnes is your man for bodywork and panelling, but get in quick , he is VERY popular, and this can affect his lead times.
Good luck with the project and keep us posted with lots of photos.

Rob,
Not sure if you are a current subscriber to the Morgan Three Wheel club, but doing so can help you get in contact with all sorts of people who could help/know a guy.
also, yahoo groups has a Morgan three wheeler group, which is often going to be more focused on vintage three wheelers versus this forum which is more often about modern three wheelers.
All the best.

Hi Rob
Krod is right. Getting involved with the Morgan Three Wheeler Club is the key to a successful restoration. Check out mtwc.co.uk
Best of luck
