A brief lull in family commitments today and the first drive of the year, prompted by needing to get the car out of the garage to tidy up. A short blast down the road and back, but a nice bonus in as much as the odometer that was resolutely stuck on 50,000 miles (second time around) decided to celebrate the New Year by moving on. As I use mileage to judge refuelling that’s really quite helpful. Downside was that I didn’t really get the garage tidied. Perhaps if the weathers OK I’ll get the car out on Saturday and not get the garage tidied again.

Roof off all the way..mainly cos I haven't got one!!!

Nice sunny day.

Going to eat them all tonight !!!

I'd leave the bedroom windows open and avoid any naked flames.

Took swmbo to Swansea EnterpriseZone to look at sofas. Dry and cold but nice run along M4 for a short distance. If weather holds dry for the weekend then possibly a run to Gower with the dog for a walk on a beach. Dogs are allowed on most at this time of year so a good choice .

First run of the year. Brilliant sunshine and the excuse to check on our holiday house in the mountains at just under 1,000 metres above sea level. Still a but of snow about in the protected areas but most of it gone after 3 weeks of sunny weather. Cold but very enjoyable smile

Found some sunshine at the coast this morning - 26 mile round trip to New Quay for nice coffee and bacon roll. Took a few pics with my new Fuji XT3, which was nice. I might even get around to posting some of them soon! grin2

Hi Graham - I'll post some more thoughts in The Dark Room shortly, but I'm certainly enjoying the camera, currently with just the 35mm f1.4 lens.
