Totally agree! There are soooo many great colours at the moment.... shades

Talking of bright green, I passed this Lambo on the M25 a couple of weeks back. Highly reflective mirrored paintwork which I have never seen before. It wasn't me taking the picture I hasten to add!

I believe that Urus belongs to a Youtube poster/bloggy chap who also has a vehicle wrapping business. He also has an Aventador in the same colour. These are both wrapped.

Hello Giles,

No the car painted by your friend Kevin was the first of the two, it was a +8 Le mans 2002 number plate 24 DHF 91 and won a prize at a british Mog (don't remember year). It was sold and repainted in black frown2 by the french distributor and is still in France (Bretagne) owned by a german.

The car, with a pink upholstery is a +4 (circa 2012) who was first ivory with raspberry wings ! shocked2 and was named "raspberry vanilla". The owner (the same as the original +8 Leopard) painted himself this second edition called "Coke Bottle" as there is (as you can see on the picture) a coke bottle painted on the rear left wing (the owner works in Coca Cola France) ! ooo
He sold the car who was repainted in brown, don't know where the car is now.

Thanks for that info Jacques.

Kevin was an excellent bodywork guy; he could do old school panel beating and was a very talented artist too. Methanol (in Mesnil le Roi) always had interesting stuff in. When he painted the leopard Morgan he was doing some bits and bobs on my TVR, and at the time there was one of the Jean Daninos bodied Bentleys in there and a 275 GTB4 amongst other stuff. Kevin had an excellent mechanic who was always upsetting customers off by being rude to them, but boy he knew what he was doing with a set of spanners.

Sadly the business struggled and Kevin ended up packing it in and moving to Morocco.

Grey overtakes black as UK's most popular car colour for first time
Beige and orange have the largest increases while cream and yellow are the biggest losers as drivers go for more unusual colours.

More than 495,000 new grey cars were chosen in 2018, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

With 21% of the market share, grey claimed the top spot for the first time since records began in 1996.

Black came in second with 20%, followed by white at 18%, blue with 16% and red at 10%.

Once the nation's long-standing favourite, silver fell out of the top five, with its lowest popularity rating since the late 1990s

British motorists shunned primary colours, with red, blue or yellow last making it into the top three nine years ago.
