The Berrybrook car has a lot of upgrades (walnut dash, Motolita steering wheel and a nice Al gear knob)
Have you checked with the dealer, if the seats are leather? They look like it in their photographs.

The description in the advert does state that they are leather.

Oh heck, so it does hahaha !!! how did I miss that !

Easily done Bonesie. I sometimes find that the more closely I look at something that I am interested in, the more I miss in the excitement of it all!

I had a blue runabout.exactly the same colour as the Berrybrook one. Almost Bugatti blue, it was lovely. One of the lovely things about it was how narrow the rear wheel arches were/are. Not sure if the cabin was narrower than newer ones or was it just the older back axle that was shorter than the current ones? Anyway, the car looked terrific in it's narrow state. Mine had rather coarse plastic dashboard and door tops and gearbox cover. The next owner (it went abroad) had leather seats fitted, not sure about the dash.

cheers

The car looks really good in that colour (IMHO).

There is something about that colour I quite like

Can’t think why!

Re leather seats - our first Morgan was a 1985 4/4 fitted with vinyl upholstery and trim from new. When we viewed the car, decided to buy it and started negotiating it quickly became apparent that the dealer concerned was reluctant to reduce the price at all. However, he was prepared to increase the specification of the car. So we got leather seats, a walnut dashboard and a few other bits and bobs included in the price.

My point is - if you view a car that is not quite the specification you want, it may prove substantially cheaper to ask the dealer to do things as part of the deal using their trade buying power than to take the car as is (even at a discount) and then get the work done yourself.

Good luck.

Nothing wrong with vinyl trim, it's vastly more practical than leather, especially in a car that gets properly used.
