I'm too excited over this new one so haven't checked. In any of the photos of the finished interior, can you see any of the wood frame?
I can only see the wooden frame in this picture:
But the car cannot be considered to be even half finished at that point, and since I've never owned a Morgan, nor have checked one since I developed this hypersensitivity caused by dry rot, I'm not sure how modern Morgans are finished.
On my '76, you can, but it's painted over and knowing Morgan with the same paint as went on the metal body panels. OK, mine is pre-preservative.
I can hope, but considering it's a bad idea to paint axe shafts and wooden spars (on boats), I can't imagine they still do that.
How far away from this stuff do you have to stay?
Very long. Especially when it's heated (i.e. hot weather). Fungicide is the worst, but I've had to remove any and all stickers and tags in my clothes, have specially made socks without any form of elasthan, nylon, or anything of the kind. Zippers in clothing have been swapped for metal zippers, and buttons, including the ones in shirts, have been swapped for some made from natural materials, and the few old shirts I had that could be saved I had to have the plastic collar stiffeners removed. These days, most of my shirts are tailored for this reason.
Fungicide is even worse. I can walk past a window in summer that doesn't even look new and have an extreme reaction by the mere whiff of fungicide. I even react to it if some clothes have been in contact with it (as I do with most of the rest). I probably wash my hands 20-30 times a day to remove whatever I have touched as to not react to it.
