I agree. They do look rather "mocked up". I hope there'll be an option for a a less shiney front for when it comes out for real.
I really don't like chrome - It seems so, well, American.

The roll bars look very tall compared to the width of them.

I also wonder if that huge space in the front will actually be available as a sort of mini-boot?

P.S. First post and all. Hi everyone, I'm currently considering getting my first Morgan, and I'm hoping the threewheeler might be "it", but things are expensive here in Denmark.

Welcome AQM and I hope you find a nice Morgan to enjoy soon. We in Britain think at £30,000 the three wheeler very expensive and as you point out nowhere to put luggage so no touring. This is one of the main reasons for buying these lovely machines so we can enjoy some of mainland Europe.

Please note however, that whilst 4/4sportsfun obviously thinks the three wheeler will be expensive; he is not the British spokesperson on this subject (or any subject as far as I know, but happy to be corrected) and many others obviously don't, as I believe orders are in excess of a years production already.

I do understand your taxation system may make things more difficult in Denmark.

When a 4/4 Sport comes in at roughly the same price Andy? I think that makes it a tad on the expensive side, but I'm not the voice of the people either

I think there will be room for some luggage. I emailed them a week ago or so, and the rear wheel is a smaller one than the front wheels, and it has a boot back there.

So I wasn't pointing out a lack of luggage carrying ability, I was simply wondering if there would be extra luggage space in the front.
Other than that I'm thinking that if one are touring two-up and don't know how to make do with just a weekender bag, one could probably manufacture a luggage rack to sit on the back, or make some "saddle bags" straddling the bonnet as I've seen in a few pictures (big picture, hence a link instead of in image tags):

In short, I think it's very doable to be touring in it. People tour on motorcycles two-up, so it should be more than possible to tour in a Morgan threewheeler.

And in fact, this is the reason I'm contemplating it: I want something with narrow wheels for touring, and I might not even have it registered here in Denmark because it will make it cost too much. But the downside to that is that I can have it in Denmark for a maximimum of three months/year. So it would become a "touring machine" since I couldn't use it for a daily commute.

I do like it. Much more than a four-wheeler Morgan. It's not about practicality, because let's face it, if I wanted practical, I'd stay with using our Lupo 3L or our diesel C30 and not even think about a Morgan.

Btw, in the email he told me (since I asked) that it will come with an alloy rear wheel since it's smaller, and tubeless tyres all around. I'm not so sure what I think of that.

Further, he told me (again, since I asked), it will have seat belts of some sort and if I order now I will be able to get one in february 2012. I'm thinking that I won't be ordering before I see one "finished" anyway, probably upping the wait even more.

AQM - The Morgan Three Wheel club tour all around Europe, as you picture shows. I seen many of them attend le Classic Le Mans with all their bags strapped to the Morgan. So I don't think you should worry. Also I know that the 'cottage industry' that makes Morgan add-ons will soon be thinking the same thing, and design bags and panniers etc.

Excellent! I hadn't thought of the "cottage industry" as you put it. I thought I'd either had to get something through MMC, or adapt some motorcycle stuff by myself, but was horrified by all the tassles and whatnots on mc leather saddle bags/panniers.

Anyone having more pictures from the factory floor?

The blue threewheeler looks rather big to me. Perhaps it's the angle, or because it doesn't have the bonnet on. But it looks like it has room for three of me in that cockpit (I'm rather thin, you see).
