...............when you are looking through Ebay and see this https://tinyurl.com/y3p3zv2fEspecially when it belonged to me just a few months ago and put in for part exchange against my current one. Is there any hope for a resurrection?

What a shame, looks like it's repairable just needs the right person to give it some love.

Pictures seem to show that 1 new wing is required, but if insurance has put it up for salvage my guess is that the frame has been twisted. To give an idea of cost. My 4/4 had two new wings & cowl plus other front end bits. £10500 (2014)(Frame/Chassis was fine)

Even if it is only the front wing, a new painted wing and fitting will cost £5k, but it looks as if the wheel has been pushed back, so the cross head and associated parts, say another £3k, the cowl has been pushed back and up and maybe the rad. damage, say another £1k plus more that can't be seen, so repairable, yes, but not for less than £8k and maybe up to £10k.
Does this make it a bargain or just a pain in the arse?
It looked to be a lovely looking car too, such a shame John. One likes to think of something like this going on to someone new and being cherished for years to come.
Edited to add my postng crossed with Icepack, we have much the same thoughts.

It is said that once you remove the bent panels, the structure may spring back, almost to what it was, but I wouldn't expect much change from £10k, as above. If I was young with shedloads of money I would be quite happy to mess with Morgans like this. But I'm neither..………..

Sorry to read this John, I'm sure they will rebuild her as good as new for another owner.

At the other end of the scale I put 4 new fibreglass wings on mine for less than £2k. Hopefully this car will be back on the road soon.

If the insurance company has written it off that means that they have calculated that the price they can get for it as is plus the cost of repair is more than the car is worth.
It may be a worthwhile project for someone who can do all or most of the work themselves and only count the cost of materials but properly repaired in a professional workshop it would not show sufficient return to be worth while. You also do not know just what you are going to find when you start work on it.
To put it in a few words they are asking too much for it. Probably the price should be at least £5K less and they know it.
