If you are happy with the position of the existing badges, might it be worth either measuring or marking their position in some way? I only suggest this as getting the position right is very tricky.....

Thanks for the advice about the heat gun Dave and Britmog. If I can sneak out the hair-dryer without being noticed then I will use that. If not I may have a bash at sticking on a hand warmer pad with masking tape.
Excellent point Neilda I will carefully mark their position before removing.

Gentle heat and floss. Then carefull cleaning of residue. I was in Berrybrook a few days ago and one Aero there had these badges. Itgot me thinking as I would need to replace the England badge with a dragon....

Use masking tape on all sides to mark the position.
I'm lucky that because MrsW was a hairdresser, I've had a supply of redundant hair dryers. I currently have two in the garage.

I peel/pull the glued stuff careful away an then remove so good as possible with my thumbnail.
Seeking a point of break the glue, than you can pull it off complete.
If it is too hatd to do I use lighter gasoline.
