Gordan's! Gordan's; Sir! Surely only a Tanqueray No. 10 is suitable for a 'Trad' Morgan baptism ? We can always make up for it at Le Mans (Classic) next year, I'm planning to go with the 'MCF' contingent. You've forgotten the tradition already Robert, the Gordon's is to pour on the engine to thank the ancestors for having provided you with such a suitable conveyance. I would not dream of doing that with Tank Ten, i.e. pouring it on the ground, which is only to be partaken in a glass with plenty of ice, tonic and a twist of something citrus. Good to hear your going to LMC next year, we've booked up again with MSCC and we were in the same hotel last year as Speedmog. I must say that I prefer it to the 24-hour race, particularly as they now racing uncharismatic diesels. All the Morgan Club's park in the same enclosure at the circuit and it really is a nice event with a great atmosphere.

Gin over the engine, never heard of that one before! I suppose if you were to use even a regular 'Tanq' you could end up with a engine a la flamber!
I have always subscribed to the ritual of 'Malvern Water' on the Rad cowl badge. It seems to have been well received by the 'Ancestors'; it also ensured that the gin went where it was appreciated!
Haven't been to a LMC for some years, and now it's virtually in my 'Back Yard', I intend to take advantage of the fact.

First pictures of 'Arian' as built and received from the factory. Car is now with 'Uncle Melvyn' who will spend the balance of my budget. Further pictures will follow of the car once she is 'up to spec'. Robert - Happy to have another 'Mog' in the family.

Congrats Robert, that looks beautiful. I look forward to seeing the final 'spec' after MR has fitted all your extras. When do we get shots of the interior? Aeroman

Thanks Gents' for the Positive Feedback. The 'interior' is my only concern as to whether the factory 'Walnut Dash' will match the replacement 'Walnut' Steering Wheel Colum Shroud as supplied to RR/Bently et al. The Steering Wheel being Wood can be re - varnished to match, so that is not a problem.

I think the 'current' interior picture refuses to be displayed until it is properly fitted out!

Morning Kin, I will reply to your question after the car is built! OK chap, spill the beans re "Delivery time has also been cut by 3 weeks; a slight cause for concern!"..... Does look spiffing, by the way. Is the wheel walnut as well please, and if so, where did it come from? I'm going down the mirrors and indicators (but front only) route as well, and BHM, helpful as always, are fitting 'rebound spring gaiters' to keep crud out of the front. Keel laid yesterday, so planning on 01.09.07 registration....
