Thought I'd blow off the winter cobwebs this afternoon but as soon as the fuel pump primed the garage was flooded with petrol!
I've identified the hose which runs from the fuel filter to the injectors, it has failed as it enters the brass pipe. I can see why as it takes a tight route from the filter outlet. I've looked online and tried to search the forums but can't find the part which I have removed.
Has this happened to anyone else and have you made any modifications to stop this happening in the future?
I can't see a part number anywhere, so suggestions of where to order one for quick delivery would be gratefully received?

Your car is 20 years old. Rubber pipes and seals can perish and 20 years is a long time. I had a 1993 Morgan and replaced the rubber pipes on the fuel system when replacing a failed pump. I reckoned it was worth while due to the age and deterioration potential. I fitted an extra filter to protect the pump as there was some “crud” in the tank I found whilst flushing it.
Not expensive and straight forward to do. Very much a preventive update.

Agree with above advice, particularly worth checking the tank to pump rubber pipe , give it a squeeze, you may find it perished and possibly weeping as did my 93 T16.
