I would agree that it does look a little on the large side compared to the original but I guess that is a need for commercial reality in these more portly times.

What's the S&S engine? I have no idea what that is? And do you mean it will be more or less expensive because of that?

Wow, I just had a look at the photos Charles Morgan uploaded to yfrog. Damn, that is nice! Makes me think the size is doable and not too big after all.

I am worried that the rear tyre is so wide, and that the rear suspension is in fact not one of those single-side things as I was told in the email. I'm worried by the latter because what else was wrong in the email if the word on the rear suspension wasn't?

Hi AQM, I have no knowledge of Harley or Harley alternative engines. But I understand that the engine fitted has been identified as an S&S engine rather than an H-D. If this is in fact the case, the S&S engines cost from about $7.5k upwards.

Hehe, without knowing what a similar one from HD costs I'm still at a loss to whether you meant the price will be steeper or lower than if it had been a Harley engine

H-D engines are much cheaper than S&S ($5k+). And H-D usually doesn't sell engines in bulk to other makers.

CM has just posted a new picture of the engine. To me it does look like an S&S X-Wedge - but I'm no v-twin expert.

The trike is starting to look a bit special.

Ah come now Graham, you should know me better . Nowhere do I say it isn't expensive, nor do I say it is. Just that he shouldn't speak for 'Britain.

There are many who think it's worth it (plenty of deposits) and I guess plenty who may like it but wouldn't spend that kind of money on it.

Is any Morgan 'cheap' these days? A 4/4 Sport for the price of a poverty spec VW Tiguan? An Aeromax SS for 60% more than Ferdinand P's finest? I would wager we've all 'overspent' on our Morgans for the magic that it is and brings
