I get about 225 miles On a single tank in the Aero and toured aplenty? I would like to stop less in the aero as it's one of the most comfortable cars to drive I've ever had (once I'm in ) did nearly 1000 miles in a day with only a few splash'n'dashes and I really didn't feel like I've done anything like that distance. I can't imagine the 3W being as easy/comfortable nor able to average 100mph on a dash back so maybe the range wont be an issue Thanks for the SS links y'all (see what I did there ) Well, yeah, but I was thinking Russia, Asia, and Australia. It will certainly not be as comfortable as your Aero, but I gather it will be better than standing on pegs and straddling an engine all day long. Wow! That's some trip, respect And yes far more comfortable than a bike I guess
Cheers

No respect needed. I haven't got the thing yet. But it would be great to use a Threewheeler for that.
I am currently contemplating how best to achieve my goals - including monetarily, and I'm wondering if it would be possible to buy the thing through an Australian dealer, thereby getting Australian number plates and registration, but picking it up myself from Malvern.
The upside to that for me would be that it very likely cheaper than buying it here, but the real reason would be that I wouldn't need an expensive Carnet to have the thing enter Australia, and that since it's an Ausstralian rego, I can leave it there while I go home to Denmark to make some more money, and then go from there again.
With a vehicle entering Australia with a Carnet, I can't leave the thing in Australia, it has to come with me.
As you can see, I'm still in the pondering stage on what would be the smartest thing to do.

Warning - when I clicked on this photo to enlarge it my PC got a malicious 'Intrusion attempt attack' Norton Security stopped it. I don't know if I got banned for a short while because of the above statement or if talkmorgan was down for a day or so, but I couldn't even open talkmorgan.com after this. Rest assured that I'm not trying to infect you guys with anything, and that the only yfrog-pictures I'm linking to in this thread are the ones Charles Morgan tweets. That one you mention is one of the instrument panel of the threewheeler he posted. P.S. I'm still at a loss with the horn? Is it normal in old (as in real old, not this reproduction) Morgans to have a panel switch for the horn?

The page brought up by your link was fine, it was only when I clicked on the photo to enlarge it that I got this message, so more to do with the site hosting the photo (not the page with the photo if you know what I mean.) BTW you are not the first to post this link, so again I can not see it as being you.

Oh, good! I was really worried when I couldn't even open the site, and then discovered the emailed post where you said you got a warning when opening it. Btw, how sad is that: Checking TM before checking my emails!

I just received an email from Simon. Turns out it was a server-side issue, so please ignore my paranoia, lol.

From the letter section in Autocar this week: The best news in your 9 February issue was the full-page ad announcing the return of the Morgan three-wheeler. Hurrah for the sub-500kg supercar with high performance from low weight. Can we look forward to a test between Morgan, Triking and others yet to emerge? Patrick Peal
The Autocar reply: Hmm, not sure the words 'Triking' and 'supercar' should be appearing as close to each other. But, um, yes, we'll pencil in a three-wheeler test.Looking forward to seeing this comparison test in Autocar.

Graham - Don't the use of the S&S engine over the use of the HD engine remove your fears for vibrations from the HD V twin? Not particularly Steve, no. It's still a 45 degree V... Comparison road test should prove interesting though. Andy, if I had £30k to spare, I'm pretty sure one of these would be in the garage Cheers,
