What is the power? Morgan Website shows 154bhp meaning you might as well just get the 110 +4 and spec if with whatever colours etc. you want. But I have seen performance upgrades mentioned so I assume it is more.

Also if it is just an ECU mapping on the GDI engine could it be done to any other GDI +4?

Why are the options repeated in the specification list ?

Example:
Satin grey stone guard with satin black mesh behind stone guard
Satin grey stone guard with satin black mesh behind stone guard

Looking at the Morgan site it mentions the Clubsport ECU map.

On the Plus 4 Clubsport it was putting out around 180bhp. I presume this will be somewhat similiar.

I looked at the clubsport spec on my standard Plus 4, apparently it would require the remap and a new exhaust and manifold to get to the performance figure quoted on the clubsport.

It doesn't mention a Panhard Rod or front brake reaction bars either, I would hope these are fitted on the car with that sort of jump over standard? (A v worthwhile upgrade to any car though regardless of power!)

ChrisConvertible, does your car already have a panhard rod and brake reaction bars?

Somehow, prices crept up and up for these 'limited editions' and with that, people became more cynical about the 'added bling'... 'how long to the next one... next week maybe!' was often heard on the forums.

I really do hope Morgan don't establish a 'new' market down this route. Sure, it's probably good for the marketing managers in the business and they will gain a few sales from the 'limited' editions... but IMHO this just dumbs down via 'bling' the uniqueness of the brand.

If you have just bought a 110th Anniversary, you would perhaps feel cheated and kinda PO'd that you have just spent North of £50k and yet did not have the opportunity to buy a '110 Works'... and then perhaps a '110 Works 6'... and so on and on... it just 'lessens' the uniqueness and desirability of the brand IMHO...

Please don't get greedy Charles. Short term gain maybe but... crazy2

I think you’ll find Charles long gone from the factory! If he been in charge I suspect that the Trads would be on their final gasp .

That’s quite common Craig. They really need a professional proof reader on the team. It comes across as being charmingly amateur.

Thanks, I don't actually own a Morgan yet - every time I get close SWMBO finds some huge house project to use up all my savings. frown But I expect to get one someday smile

Alex Goy explains it puts out a more realistic 184bhp here.

I'm guessing in the hastily published MMC spec they just copied across from standard plus 4.

....or 4 pot front brakes, or rear discs or a limited slip diff. or 5 link rear suspension with coilovers, or adjustable dampers all round, or aluminium floors, or double duck hood with interlining or a handbrake that only works if you put your foot on the footbrake before applying the handbrake....... doh

Just like you should with a car with an electric handbrake.
