Now you knowledgable ones !! I assume S1 S2 S3 means series, what years do these apply to, what series is my 2015 Plus 4 ? Many thanks David

David, I can't recall the actual years that the S1, S2 etc cover ( someone will be along soon to tell you ) but as for your Plus 4 2015, that's the same as mine and has no series number. It is merely now 4 years older than the current one!!! It will, of course, have a galvanised chassis for more brownie points in the classic stakes!

it seems that the S1 - S3 nomenclature is applied to the Roadster so does not really apply to your +4.
From memory the Series designation is: Series 1 - Flat rads Series 2 - First cowled cars Series 3 - Ford Anglia engined Series 4 - Ford Consul(?) engined Series 5 - Kent engined
After this either the concept died out or I just don't know what they are!
I am sure someone else will come up with a more definitive response.
