June and I went off to the Metro centre y/day . My idea don't ask I must be cracking . As we off along the A19 headed North just passed the slip road into Sunderland the traffic stopped . It took us about an hour to get started again the police had cleaned the road as we got near a crash only 1 car done it all but while waiting young men got out of there cars and pee'd by the road and there was trees and bushes to walk behind . It looked like a large car had hit the kerb ran with it then a long distance with the grass and the barrier . We spotted the car it must have hit the inner barrier and thrown by force to the barrier on the side of the fields . The front was missing and so was the rear . Like a front and rear shunt, instant right off . I have seen better cars in scrap yards . Yet as we got past the cars sped off over 70mph I am of the opinion a vast majority don't think it can happen to them . Getting to the Metro centre a young girl driving and texting went past . Sore point my uncle was driven into on that bit of road and ended his driving . One good bit I have been thinking of what to buy my daughter for her wedding something special off dad that she can keep when I am gone ( to that mog garage in the sky ) I spotted something in a jewellers window hope she likes it .

The Italians say about people who behave badly, or without consideration of the feelings of others, that they are badly educated.

I think this is particularly appropriate in this case. Not only is the driving behaviour of some people evidence of their "maleducation" but to pee in public when it would be easy to duck behind a tree is really unacceptable. Not so long ago they would have been arrested for obscene behaviour.

General good manners and courtesy vanish when the holidaymakers arrive down here unfortunately - they just charge through the single track areas like they own the place but they are necessary for the local businesses. I guess it's the selfie generation

Richard don't worry just got one of those stunning women looking for boyfriend crap e-mails . Showing a dolly bird scantly clad . I shouted of June . Told June the dolly bird may have had 2 bumpers but did not stand a chance as she did not have 4 tyres and some spanners.

June , told me that the crash was on the net and with only seeing one car in bits and a spotless road and no skid marks except the curb stones and barriers I thought that was it. It was a multi car crash a man and a woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries .
