our plus 8 is just wired to run whether or not the engine is on (came that way). I was wondering how you did the urban fan hook up? As it comes from the factory it is both temp and speed controlled.
On my wife's HD I have "love jugs" and they are wired to run independent of the bike being on or off, but you have to remember to turn them off
