This just about sums up New Zealand roads  Puts me in mind of this somewhat more unwelcome sign on the Pacific Coast Highway in California.

We are on South Island now an met an English guy driving this Bentley. The car hasn’t been back to the UK for seven years he just ships it from country to country, some he he mentioned were USA, Canada,Mongolia,Australia and he is off to Japan after New Zealand  Overlooking Pelorous Sound

Little and large  There seem to be quite a few car/bike groups touring South Island we stopped and chatted to a group on Indians saw couple of 1930’s Fords and were told of a French group of about 30 Citroen’s

Drove the Lewis Pass today across the Spenser Mountains in South Island to Hanmer Springs, stunning scenery the pictures don’t really do it justice
