You can get a very small amount of adjustment if you loosen the 4 screws holding the metal strips in place. Then with the side screens mounted (only hand tight) you can try to push the side screen to the position you want. Best done in two so that you can tighten the screws whilst it is being pushed forward. This will not gain you much but it may be enough.

I have also bent the screens inwards at the top so that when the door closes there is pressure against the rubber.

This, in part, is the result of the inaccurate nature of the hand-built Morgan. Other than every door being different, they are made to fit the car, there will be a tolerance in the fitting of the windscreen pillars. A 0.5mm difference at the bottom of the screen could amount to 2 or 3mm at the top. The ultimate solution may be to loosen the windscreen pillar mounting screws and push it back a little.

That’s the sensible thing to do. If you try to adjust it yourself and make it worse you’ll have no comeback.

My Morgans are older so this might not be relevant but there is an art to correct fitting of side screens. Firstly tightening the knobs by hand is not enough a tightening tool used in the holes in the knobs is ideal. Secondly when tightening pushing the top of the screen inwards and tightening knob (with your 'tool') can close many gaps.

Carefully bending the stays worked for me, it was easy to do. My car being older (2005 but new style windscreen) does not have the new rubber strips. I might try these too.

The issue is because of the low pressure caused by the “barn door” windscreen. it also causes the outer flap of the hood to fly out at speed allowing rain straight in at the top of the pillar.
My solution is to sew on some Velcro on the underside of the flap and stick a piece of the “hook” side of the Velcro to the front top of the windscreen pillar - result on two fronts - no water comes in and the sidescreen is also held where it should be!!!
It requires one to replace the Velcro each time one gets in(arm out the window) but the door opens out past it when getting out.

Thanks Gents for your tips .. first I will ask MMC to fix under warranty and if this fails will follow the route of loosening all screen and side screen bolts and see if I can get some realignment. May also add the Velcro for the bels n braces solution
