Passenger side screen on my 2017 Roadster opens out from the windscreen stay at speed. Drivers side is fine.

I’ve checked today and the difference is that the passenger side doesn’t “hook” under the rubber lip seal.

I’ve removed and refitted the side screen to see if there was any way to get the screen to sit further towards the screen stay. No adjustment possible when tightened up.

So at a bit of a loss ... short of taking the car back to Morgan (it’s there ex demo car).

If its a ex-demo car the chances are that someone has tried to close the door with the sidescreen in the wrong position and this has resulted in the frame being mis-aligned.

You could try some very gentle manipulation, and see if that makes any difference , if it does then try a bit more , but do it gently and incrementally.

You could take it back to MMC but I appreciate that is quite a long way from Skipton to Malvern and not an option to be taken lightly. You could see if a more local dealer would honour the MMC warranty?

I retrofitted my 4/4 with the latest U tube rubbers used by the factory.
Researching this showed how hit & miss the fitting of the side screens are on new cars. The side screen & W/screen frames were no where near parallel & the gaps varied by large amounts on some cars.
The problem with the side screen pulling out & chattering at speed especially in a crosswind is a well known issue.
Basically you have to dismantle the side screen and get them all aligned and also “bent” inboard to get the fit right. Depending how much adjustment yours requires will point you in either DIY or a professional. Either way it can be done but is not easy.

As I’ve only just bought the car direct from Morgan I’m not about to start stripping g the side frame or re-mounting the screen stays.

But it’s not OK to leave it as it is ... so it looks like the cars going back under returns policy to be sorted

My offside screen sits slightly back, not enough to affect anything but annoying anyway. There is no adjustment that I can see.

12 years ago I also had the same problem with the passenger side window. I had tried to fix it in the vice but I hadn't made it. In my Morgan workshop they had the solution, simply in seconds and permanently.
The mechanic had quite simply held the opened door and bent with his upper body over the whole surface the side window. I was very impressed but I wouldn't dare to do it myself. Sometimes the simple solutions are the best.
Now I have the same problem with the 4/4 for some time. And it is like with Keith. The side windows sit too far back and don't fit under the rubber guide which wasn't there in the first case I just described. Let's see I let the workshop fix it again.

I’ve looked at “bending” the screen in toward the centre of the car but I doubt this will have any effect. The screen is simply 4-5mm too far away from the aluminium windscreen strut and misses the rubber lip seal which is supposed to hold it.

As far as I can see it’s a case of moving one or the other closer together

I had same problem and screen did not fit into the strip at the top. Williams solved it. They cut the upperhalf loose from the windscreen pillar and inserted double sided black tape, filling up the gap, and glueing back together. When doing this you need a very sharp knife and a steady hand. Note the bond between pillar an rubber strip is very firm, so cutting it loose is safer than tearing it off.

I guess you are still under warranty so as Andy suggests maybe your nearest dealer will sort this for the factory.
