Every time I go in the garage I do a bit more to the pedal car!
It's very alluring..........

So, after thinking hard about a rear bumper, and contemplating extending the chassis back through the rear panel, I found that the chassis would be too high. So my solution so far is to extend the chassis rails up to the rear panel, then when its all back together, look at a solution from there. I started by making a simple bent piece of aluminium to mirror the front bumper as a starting point.

Next I extended the chassis rails using aluminium, by sleeving and glue-ing into the existing channels. I'll make a transverse brace when I refit the body. Here the extension is from the arrow.

At the front I've added indicators, and the lower metal plate, which I've drilled and added the two fasteners. This looks much better now!

At the rear, I've added rear lights and indicators. These are HGV side marker LED lights, and are a perfect size.

Finally I've refurbished the inside of the body. Next job will be to wire up the lights, and soon after that I should be able to refit the body to the chassis.
