2015 Plus 4. Has anyone tried to alter the seat base angle, to lift the front of the base up. The seats seem very flat and give little or no support to the legs. Looks as though you could fit spaces or wedges to the front of the seat runners to lift the front up.Any thoughts?
Cheers
David

I'm thinking of doing the same thing on my 2007.

Use stainless steel penny washers (can easily be reversed later) or cut a new set of wooden wedges.

When I had my Mog I had the same problem. Just packing the front up does not work too well as the runners bend and so will not slide. Make some full length wedges and the runners still slide.

The factory fitted wedges in the 2002 - 2006 period when the dash was the two plus four gauges arrangement. And maybe before that.

When the dash reverted to the three large gauges, in 2006, the upward adjustment of the steering wheel was reduced and it appears that this was when the seats were bolted straight onto the floor.

A really easy job to make a couple of wooden wedges and install them under the drivers seat, it was the first thing I did after my car was delivered. You will just need some longer bolts under the front though.

In fact it is a nice easy job to get started on personalising the car to just the way you want it - a job that lasts a lifetime!

Yes just done it. Raised the front by 20mm. Feels so much better. Easy job expected to find money under the seats but no luck, feel better after vacuum it out.

Being a long time back problem owner, I had wooden wedges installed under drivers seat as one of the first modifications on my 2009 Roadster, this to prevent sliding down the seat. Also have the lumbar inflatable support from https://www.wolfperformance.co.uk/
Very happy With these mods.
Cheers,
Bert

Me to Bert, seats still don't come anywhere near the likes of of MX5 and lesser mortals
