I am looking for ideas for front wing protection when workng on my Roadster. Something to cover the wing between the rear of the front cowl to the front bulkhead.
All suggestions welcome. How about you, Dave W?

Just had my wings resprayed at Williams to remove stone chips so I wont be putting anything on them that isnt spotlessly clean. Think some quality underlay might be the way to go, tried the towel thing Dave and spent more time picking it up than working on the car!!

I use old towels, I cut a slot at one end to hang it on the sidelight. at the back end I have used a piece of masking tape - but usually I don't bother.

Just put a crocodile clip or mole grips over the rear bonnet catch if it won't stay put.

Interesting Alan, How was the colour matching, knowing that there are different 'Amazon Greens' among the Register Cars.

Hi Frank
Lyn having won the detailing prize with Williams, I decided to have the stone chips removed and the car filmed for on going protection. All wings and front cowl off for painting I am very pleased with the colour match and finish You will have to park next to me at the R100 meet next month and compare Let's hope the weather is fine. See you then
