Well it wasn’t supposed to be a dislike of ‘sports’ SUV design particularly [pedant mode]Isn't that a tautology? SUV is and acronym for Sports Utility Vehicle [/pedant mode]  Yes quite right, Rachel had just made me a large gin and tonic so a bit sloppy I really meant ‘sporty’ to differentiate a Sports Ulitily Vehicle from a sports car aesthetic as opposed to a SUV from a 4 X 4 design parentage, if you know what I mean?  No? Maybe I don’t either Ask her to put a bit more Gin in the Tonic next time

The question is, how do people get in and out of them in a tight parking space, or anyone else for that matter.
Tim That's easy Tim, they just keep banging into the vehicles parked near them until enough space occurs.

We have a Sportage. Seems to be in the SUV category but does lack a bit in the “sports” description. It is a good workhorse and fits our needs. The high driving position is nice for visibility. The Kia warranty is a good bonus too. 7 years. I think the “S” should be for Saloon rather than Sport. Not quite an estate ( it sits higher than an estate version of a saloon. Had it 4 years from new and proved a good reliable buy.  is the main driver of it and she is happy with it. No brainer there then! We will probably keep it as mileage will be low and no desire to get onto the oft replaced and big depreciation hits. It is a function based choice.

Our Sedona is a brilliant workhorse, and with the rear 5 seats out, it can hold the electric wheelchair easily.
