Vehicle Lifts

This is what I use to lift our Mini Coopers and am hoping to be able to modify it to lift the M3W.
It is an EZ Lift.

If the m3w frame area will support the load, then yes.

One statement that got my attention was when the sawhorse assembly at the factory was complete they take it off the sawhorses with a fork lift. So the turning 90 degree idea is probably a goo one.

I will know once the M3W arrives 😊

Looking at the specifications for the Mini v Morgan and the spacing on my M3W, I think your lift will be OK?

I use the Dewalt 1/2 inch drill and it works perfectly well.

Good to know the DeWalt works since no cord being dragged across the shop.

On turning the lift 90 degrees, it would mean that there would be big beams block access to something, like trans and bevel. Just a thought.

Yes, turning through 90 degrees would limit access to the underside depending on what you want to do under there.

The bevel box, the oil lines and the transmission areas are what I had in mind. Checking for loose things and dripping things.

That is what I use, but currently the width is set for the Mini Cooper. I will measure and see I it can easily be changed to work on both vehicles.

There is a long shaft that goes from the drillmotor point across the lift to power the opposite side at the same time the drillmotor side is being powered.

UPDATE: The lift for the Mini's is roughly 60" x 60" so it would only work across, not in line, with the M3W. I believe that 38" is the extreme width of the M3W.

If it is put across the Morgan then where would it obstruct things? As a wild guess I would think that positioning the cross member of the lift closest to the front wheels would be best, am I wrong?

I finally got the EZ Lift modified to support the M3W securely.

Could you do a picture of the standard lift without the car on it and the lift with the modified lifting supports need for the three wheeler again without the car on it.
