Vehicle Lifts

This is what I use to lift our Mini Coopers and am hoping to be able to modify it to lift the M3W.
It is an EZ Lift.

There is no modification needed to lift the M3W, just slide under a lift.

Your EZ Lift has the sliding pads which you position equally under the side chassis at the rear and front and lift. The rubber pads protect the side of the M3W

The side to side is more of a concern since this lift is set for the Mini's. I suppose I can make something work, or maybe I will be real lucky and the width is the same :-)

True, don't know the width of the mini v M3W. If necessary you could just order new cross members, hopefully it works out. My cross members were for the +8 but fit all my Mogs.

I use a powerful 1/2” chuck drill motor, a Hole Hawg, but i have been told that the new DeWalt 1/2” cordless will work too.

I have been using it for years with zero trouble. It takes very little space when collapsed and tilted up against a wall. I supposed you could lift it up into an overhead with block and tackle or something since it only weighs 120# total.

Britmog, i am inclined to lay crossmembers if necessary so the lift will work for both without modification.

Could the M3W be positioned at 90 degrees?

Just a thought.
