Interested in peeps experiences and opinions having fitted the various options for an aftermarket exhaust header (manifold) on the 4/4 please?

And also the options for a re-map as well.

Many thanks :>)

Jamie at BHM fitted a full Librands system to my silver top Zetec 4/4 back in 2011, what an improvement! Much more responsive, under bonnet looks much better thanks to "bunch of bananas" manifold instead of ghastly cast iron one, sounds fantastic, though I had to have the tailpipe changed as the original was painfully noisy at about 3,000rpm (there are several alternatives and I believe various lengths of silencer as well). Very worthwhile and I'd be interested to hear from those who have had a remap as well.

I put a Librands exhaust on my zetec 4/4 it made a lot of noise but not much else. an ITG air filter though helped.
On my +4 I put a librands manifold on. Now that really helped id range torque.

On my 2014 4/4 sport I had a remap by Cain,a Librands manifold and sports exhaust and K+N filter with forced air induction.

The results from memory were a rise in bhp from 110 bhp to 140 bhp with a big uplift in torque and 5th gear became more than just an overdrive gear.

Felt like a different car with same 40+ mpg..win win !!!

Definitely get the manifold if you are buying Librands, the "sports system" alone is not worth fitting as you still have the original restrictive manifold and cat.
