To be perfectly frank, I'm struggling to see why this is considered to be a problem in the first place. It seems pretty steady to me with only an occasional twitch that quickly stabilises.
Remember cable-driven speedos?

Remember cable-driven speedos? Yes, I still have them. Now that I have added 11k miles to the yellow car, the speedo has settled down (it was awful - reading low after a few miles and jumping around all over the place, particularly at higher speeds). It is now fairly accurate and remains so over long distances, so I am now contemplating moving the GPS speedo into the 90...

My 2005 4/4 with the same electronic speedo has done similar things, on a few occasions the speedo needle has just dropped briefly to zero, then flicked back up again. I've always assumed it's a Morgan trait, like misting instruments, etc. If they don't find a fault, just accept it, unless it is affecting your driving.

My 90's speedo is steady, but on the larger tyres...
