Not for environmental as much as an economic method. I purchased 20 acres of redwood and fir forest close to a ridgetop at 1200 ft elevation with a view of about 35 miles of coastline and its associated cities. I figured if I lived there and not pay rent to a landlord somewhere else I would be putting my money into something that would do nothing but go up in value. Also everyday I lived there electricity was getting closer down the road on which I lived and when it got within proximity to make it financially viable then I could hook up if I desired. The retirement plan worked and produced enough monies to move closer to healthcare when I needed it. That plan worked as well :-)
Since moving into a city my blood pressure has risen...

That is a really interesting voyage you have had there and a very brave one at that.
I certainly hope the M3W will help with some good quality time for you and help to reduce your blood pressure when you get delivery.

I am pretty sure it will keep me alert when on the road and many hours tinkering keeping it running and modifying it.

........ I had to move to where healthcare was available. Hate living in town, way to noisy, and to many people that think they they know what it takes to live green and they have never even tried it.
Green is a lot hard work, and don't let someone convince you that running a car off batteries is going green, the pollution created by battery making and battery disposal is horrendous!
My pal peter and his partner Pam, I've known him for 60 years, recently moved from living out in the woods near Kaslo, BC to Victoria Island BC mainly because of access to medical services. Kaslo has basic medical services, but for anything serious it is a 5 to 6 hour drive to Vancouver. That trip has a poor expectation of survival... There is a good hospital on the Island and everything you might need in Vancouver, with a medivac . helicopter available. Pete hates the city, but he hates the idea of being dead even more!

Funny, i too was 6 hours drive from good healthcare and since i was informed that i had a failing liver from a bad blood transfusion after being blown up by an antipersonnel mine. I too figured moving was better than dying.

What amazes me is how much of our greenhouse gases are produced from cattle and the meat industry
It’s staggering
We could be riding around in V8’s for the next 100 years if we all stopped eating meat and going diary free!

We could be riding around in V8’s for the next 100 years if we all stopped eating meat and going diary free! It seems strange that if the meat industry was such a big problem that it has only just come to light ? I was diagnosed with horrendously high cholesterol at the end of last year so have stopped eating dairy and no red meat and have been surprised how easy it has been to adjust, and halve my cholesterol. If this is the price to pay for keeping my V8's, so be it.

Cattle are a contributor for sure but the peat bogs in Siberia outgas a lot of carbon as well. The bogs were not manmade and i once heard they produce more gas than humans.
