Same. I did it through a garage, so I do not have the details of the process. He did it by himself.

Peter - yes, in theory we can reject - and we will try to negotiate on this.
Ale_72 - your car wouldn't have been noise checked. But if it ever does you'll be in trouble too. You also have the issue that your car wasn't supplied with them - which means you'd be liable for correcting the car.
My lawyer wife has a call with the CEO this afternoon

Side pipes have been registered.
Anyhow, I will think about it when it's due next time.
Rear exhausts are still safely kept at home. Replacing them it's a 30 min job.

If there is nothing in the Ausweis showing a deviation from the CoC value - then they are not "technically" legal. The "right" garage will get the car to pass an MFK by making sure a noise test is not performed.
It is a right bloody mess - and I just want it closed out one way or the other.

Until it runs What scares me is that in the last two years I only brought it to Gigi for the annual service and to mount the Wolf Performance oil pan protector, that means that sooner or later I will have to pay for all the missed unexpected issues. A few days ago I saw on the odometer 54.321km and still smiling anytime I take it. I could not live with a car in the garage that I cannot drive it for homologation issue. I'd not have all that patience.
