A good independent Porsche specialist will keep running costs down...
I used to take my 986 S up to Yorkshire, but there are a couple around here nowadays. I have one 11 miles away from home, still not cheap http://www.porsche-restoration.co.uk/

You should complain, under the Trades Descriptions Act!  I did exactly that to Cambridgeshire T/S. Complete waste of time, they took over 12 months to respond and ask for full details. By that time I could not be bothered to pursue it. No it was not a Morgan. Likewise with different models,I thought I would put in details of my 1936 MG TA just for the hell of it, totally impossible it is not in the drop down so no way to input it.

Restoration specialists - sounds expensive Steve! A comment on their home page "all marques of Porsche" would put me off - surely Porsche is the marque?  The company I used in Yorkshire sold to another outfit, then restarted a year later under a new name. Basic servicing on the Boxster is not difficult, though a ramp of some sort makes life a lot easier.

Basic servicing on the Boxster is not difficult, though a ramp of some sort makes life a lot easier. Any company that can't give you a price quote for a standard service does not get my custom. It's diy service for me
